It appears the mudfest from 2014 will not repeat itself. The weather for Cairns through the weekend only suggests possible showers and things are dry and firm right now. The racing may be a little less crowd pleasing but this should make things more competitive and keep the times tight.

Gee Atherton took the win on a sloppy track in 2014 (in borrowed Five Tens!) but who will be the man to beat this year? Loic and Aaron are strong favourites and Josh Bryceland and Stevie Smith have found their pace again as well. Should be a great race on the men’s side – but can anyone beat Rachel Atherton?
