Great stuff. My first CK product was an oversized threaded headset over 20 years ago. When the NoThreadSet came out, they sold the parts to convert it. It's still in service and going strong, only been repacked twice! I just wish they would make fat bike hubs 🙁

King products last over the long haul, I've had an external headset for 13 years that's been on many bikes. Also set of hubs for 8+ years with minimal maint. The fact the hubs can be converted to new standards with existing shell is huge in the longevity department. Being able to maintain and adapt to new standards make King products worth the initial investment imo.

That was a great short. King is the quintessential anti-Trump persona. No nauseatingly endless hubris, just a humble guy making quality products he stands behind. No childish smack talk, just facts and logical arguments. No shallow, self-serving, self-promotion, just a process and products he believes in.
I don't own a King product because my budget prevented it. This will now change.

"How do you know if Chris King stuff is any good?" Because of people like me that have 10 year old King hubs with the original bearings and ring drive system in it and it still works like new.
And Chris King for president you say? I don't think he'd last a day in the reality TV show known as American politics. Trump has too much reality TV show experience, therefore he's a shoe in. Without him there would be nothing to watch on television. America would crumble from the boredom.

It's well known how well made King products are. His name is synonymous with longevity and quality.
After watching the short I thought of the antithesis of King and Trump easily came to mind. King walks the talk and he has for decades even going so far as to move his production facility to Portland when housing prices around his CA location were prohibitively high for his employees who he recognizes as the key to making great products.
Finding moral reasons to dislike Trump is easier than breathing.

@Herd is too big - your implied support of Trump and sarcastic "Intelligent" is one of the finest examples of irony I have seen.

roadie@ The irony is that I assumed you read the comment I commented on. I never implied that I supported Trump. Road bikers . . . . . . . .
