AIRprentice Money Shot Finalists
For AIRprentice this year we decided to spice up the weekend by creating a competition within the competition. AIRprentice Money Shot will see three photographers and three videographers join us up on the hill at Silver Star to document the weekend, and immortalize NSMB’s newly-crowned Team rider. AIRprentice goes this weekend, July 7th and 8th, at Silver Star Bike Park – and before then, we’ll be introducing you to the Money Shot shooters.
Video #1: Brock Anderson
Brock Anderson has been a recognizable name in local circles since before the SLR revolution. He shoots both photo and video, sticking with simple equipment for reliable results. For Money Shot, we’ve asked Brock to focus on video – but that’s not saying he won’t be shooting photo as well.
Brock created a slideshow for his application and referenced his previous work for video.
The final section from Brock’s most recent short film, Mountain Highs & Bro Yos.

Photo #1: Lindsay Donovan
Lindsay Donovan Davies is a Vancouver-based photographer with a passion for getting behind the lens. Relatively new to mountain biking but not to photography, her approach to shooting is to let her images drive the story while a few words colour the scene.
Lindsay’s application submission for Money Shot included yet-to-be-published images for a future project, so here are some samples and of course we’ll see her work coming out of AIRprentice.

Brock and Lindsay are the first of six shooters who will be vying for, among other prizes, a coveted press pass to both Crankworx Whistler in August and Red Bull Rampage in October. We’re stoked to see what they can come up with – you?
