NORTH SHORE RIPPER JUNE 8-10

As related in this previous article, the North Shore Ripper presented by Obsession Bikes took place from Friday June 8th to June the 10th. Three events were held during the Ripper; the Adidas Eyewear Chainless DH; the Specialized Euro Enduro; and the Trek Slash Super D. Entrants in all three events could do the Trilogy by competing on one bike using the same components and vie for the title of Ripper King or Queen. This year Chris Johnston took the Ripper King title while Michelle Lachmann became the newly crowned Ripper Queen.

Adidas Eyewear Chainless DH

To start the weekend, the Adidas Eyewear Chainless DH time trial on the Richard Juryn trail went off very, very quietly (have you ever ridden chainless – it’s eerily silent). 47 riders rode the course with Joe Schwartz taking the Mens and Michelle Lachman taking the Womens!
