Behind the Shoot Pt. 1

Mid spring brought together the Rocky Mountain Bicycles freeride team for a promotional shoot in Kamloops. Wade Simmons, Geoff Gulevich and recently reunited team member Thomas Vanderham spent a few days in the Loops shooting for the recently released RM web video as well as promotional photos. The Godfather himself, Wade Simmons puts it his way. “We’re doing some spring cleaning. We got some fresh bikes were testing with brand new Saint. All three of us have braaand new bikes that we’re just…just getting dialed.”

With a crew of Sterling Lorence, Ambrose Weingart and Tamas Forde behind the lens, the crew gambled with wind, weather and light throughout the trip.

The boys visited numerous spots over the first couple days in search for some lines for possible Rocky Mountain adverts. Gully had his eye on some hits in a valley while Vanderham and Simmons had a few other big mountain style ideas in mind.

NSMB.com had the opportunity to have behind the scenes look at the shoot. We followed the crew for the four day shoot to bring you an insider’s look of what went down. Part I brings you the start of the trip as the team settles into their new rides and sets out in search for some classic Kamloops lines.
