Brat Race 2010

Come out for a fun afternoon of racing and support Sechelt Search & Rescue.

Date:  September 25th, 2010

Time:

• 10:00 am to 11:00 am registration
• noon start
• 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm  after celebration at the Old Boot Eatery

Place:  West Sechelt Elementary

Race course:  

• Start at the top of Brat, ride to Over Easy to Desoto Ridge, along the FSR to Beaver Pond to Par Bac to Shakecutters, down Duracell, ending at Scatterbones
• 12 km of single track
• 2000 feet descending
• 500 feet ascending

Average time:  1 hour

Participants:  12 years plus

Entry fee: $25 – includes a full pasta buffet at the Old Boot Eatery. Proceeds will go to Search and Rescue.

Registration:  In person at Off the Edge Adventure Sports.  Cash only will be accepted.  There will be no race day registration.

Logistics:  There will be NO organized shuttles.  Participants are encouraged to ride to the top or arrange personal shuttles.

** All participants must have current insurance through Cycling BC or be a member of a Cycling BC affiliated club.
