Windham World Cup Day 1

Incredible day in Windham New York today for Qualifying.  Gee Atherton and Greg Minnaar are separated by just 4 points going into Sunday’s final now.  This is going to be an epic race.

Here are all the video highlights from today.  There were some big crashes for a few riders.

Practice kicked off with a some chilled runs from the top guys who are looking for lines on this brand new course in Windham. They’re also waiting for the sun to dry the muddy, rocky, rooty course out. There’s a lot of slipping and sliding going on.

The World Cup Finals in Windham New York kicked off today.  The sun was out and although the course was a little damp the riders seemed happy.

There are 2 of us in the MTBcut crew in Windham this week so hopefully the videos will be twice as good… 🙂

Enjoy the Day One edit

We know the World Cup race season isn’t over yet, but we ask the question: “Sum up your 2010 WC race season in 3 words”

Rob Warner hits the nail on the head.

It’s all down to this weekend.  Only 7 points separate Gee Atherton (who leads) and Greg Minnaar.  Tell us who is going to win that duel, and thus the overall, and who is going to take the race this weekend here…
