Wade’s New Job

The NSMBA is proud to welcome Wade Simmons to the Board of Directors as the new Trail Ambassador. 

Wade has travelled the globe, riding trails around the world for the last fifteen years.  As a dedicated rider who likes to climb as much as descend, he has a well-rounded experience of XC, AM & DH flow. 

“I want to make the Shore a destination again.”  Often bypassed by tourists due to the high level of difficulty, the Shore has an abundance of black and double black trails.  What we are missing in the mix are trails that encourage progression of beginners and out of town riders who are unaccustomed to the highly technical trails of the Shore.  As we move into a new era in which municipalities and landowners now see the value of bike tourism more than ever, opportunities abound and Wade will be spearheading the efforts of the NSMBA. 

We welcome Wade and are excited about the expertise he brings to the table!
