Cycling BC 2009 Awards

Cycling BC is the provincal governing body in British Columbia which represents Mountain Biking (Dh and XC), BMX, Road, Track and Cyclo-cross.

Each year Cycling BC host an Awards Banquet  honoring the best in the province for each year. Held this year at Hertiage Hall in East Vancouver on November 20th, 2009.

Thirty Five awards were given out in various categories over the evening. Focusing on the mountain biking the winners under each category are:

National Awards Presented by Canadian Cycling Association

Outstanding Junior Rider of the Year: Tory Nyhuag BMX

Youth Awards

Female Downhiller of the Year: Holly Feniak

Male Downhiller of the Year: Nick Geddes

 

Female BMX Cyclist of the Year: Amanda Landers

Male BMX Cyclist of the Year: Connor Mc Cormack

International Awards

Female International Cyclist of the Year: Catherine Pendrel

Male International Cyclist of the Year: Ryder Hesjedal

Senior Awards
