Photos Dan Barham

The legendary Digger called me up a couple of weeks ago ranting about a new line he found deep in the forest.  Waiting for conditions to be just right, also known as dank, we decided to shoot it.  I called up photo guru Dan Barham and fellow team member Ian Nelson.

Apparently it took 4 months to build and the builder did it all at night… I like it.

Every move on this short steep trail was sniper so I was a pretty nervous. I have been mainly pinning trails and haven’t spent much time on stunts and dj’s this year.  Everything worked out well and I was pumped for hitting up the gnar early in the season.

The move with the most fun was the hip but the entrance was sketch and wet. Luckily the Maxxis Minions did their job.  We sessioned this for awhile while the light was fading.

After the hip was a super sick step up wooden platform that you had to have just the right amount of speed and pop for or it was either spending time at the hospital or the bike shop.  The tranny was also a wee bit flat.  I’m glad I brought out the Demo for this one.

Shout out to Digger, Dan and Ian for coming out.

Cheers,

JW
