John Henry Days

On the weekend I went to John Henry bikes to participate in the Dreaded 150 industry race along with team mates Jerry Willows and Eamonn Duignan. 

The course this year was similar to last years, with a couple of exceptions, including hydrochloric acid in the kiddie pools… or at least according to the announcer Brett Tippie.

After a few practice runs it was time to race. Things started out good by edging out team Specialized in the first round.

In the second round we were up against team Norco.

Things were going great until Jerry, the master of skinnies!, fell in to the kiddie pool. After that it was a race to catch up but he was unable to succeed.

In the final round it was team ESC vs. team Norco. It was a close race but, due to Norco getting a flat, ESC took the win! 

Once again John Henry’s put on a great event for the 17th time. Can’t wait till next year!
