WTF is Jeffsy?

YT calls it “the most aggressive 29er on the market” and according to the YT web site Cam Zink says if he could only have two bikes he’d have a Tues and a Jeffsy. The re-birth of 29 at the burly end of the trail category is alive and well at Sea Otter 2016.

YT's new 29'r trail machine was much in demand the first day of Sea Otter. On Day 2, we got there just as the festival was waking up and were able to get some alone time with Jeffsy.

29″ inches front and back. Bucking the trend, Jeffsy has no out of the box 29 to plus size conversion option.

The Jeffsy CF Pro comes with a five figure spec but the price is US$6000, CDN$8000 and €4500. But you’ll have to wait if you want one – they are sold out until June or July. Hopefully we’ll get our tester before that – and the plan is to order it just as a consumer would to go through the unboxing process and give our impressions of the experience.

Check out Jeffsy here.

Would you spend that kind of money on a bike without being able to see it first?

Im going to get burned for this but 27.5 will be 200mm+ dh bike territory and everything else will be 29 before too long. Now that companies are getting the numbers soughted on the big wheel it just makes sense! Ottom line is that they are FASTER when it matters, at speed.
Oh and the title for most aggressive 29er, atleast geometry wise, goes to the Pole Bikes Evolink 140 29! Crazy weapon!!

Finally there are wagon wheelers I can jump on and ride how I want without having to add offset shock bushings and longer travel forks.

With the shock link and the seat mast support, looks like a Specialized to me.

Wait, we can see it. We just can't test ride it.
In any event, I welcome more rowdy 29ers.

This may be the least informative article I've ever read. Thanks "Dad" there is a link.

A Lyric or a 36 certainly backs up any claims to being aggressive. Odd that there's only a 34 on the top spec Jeffsy.
