Nope, the EGO-Kit is a bolt-on motor for just about any bike… for good or for worse. You can tell its aftermarket because they have to carry the battery in their backpacks.

Yeah I also disagree, the music wasn't great but tolerable and the riding looked fun. Take it easy on the Haterade Cam. Remember when life was allowed to be fun? Anyone that enjoys riding MTB or moto can see that track/trail woulda been super fun, and not really good on anything but an e-bike. I think that an enviro friendly quiet "motorbike" would be pretty fun. It's def not MTB but I doubt anyone would say no if they were there….

Actually I disliked the music less on a second viewing. Still not a fan but I was full of beers when I posted this. Got a little loose Cory! Otherwise I didn't say anything about the rest being fun or not.

Yeh E-Bikes… Well maybe good for tourism operators to make punters feel "extreme". I can see bloated pencil pushers on their holidays clogging up accident & emergency clinics all over the world with the aftermath of their lack of skill, fitness & common sense. Boost & wheel sizes has nothing to worry about. We should be burning E-Bikes at the stake!

I'm going to burn in hell several times over for saying this, but that looked way more FUN than spending a day endurotarding around Whistler. Sure the video was total crap, but the course looked like a laugh. No worse than riding up to Beaver Pass on a pink and yellow bike wearing an XC lid, goggles and a bum bag anyway 😉
