Well another year of racing has come and gone, and with it, Aaron Gwin has grabbed not only the win at Val di Sole, but the overall title for the 2015 season. The rest of the podium reflected the overall standings as well, with Loic Bruni snagging second, and Troy Brosnan landing in third for both the race and final standings.

hart

We were cheering for Danny Hart. This must have gutted him. He was clearly on pace.

loic

Loic Bruni makes it another second after a great run with lots of burly lines. His time is coming fast.

Gwinn looked unstoppable – and the riders rolling before him likely pushed their pace a little knowing he was coming.

minnaar_down

Greg Minnaar was going all out to try and win the overall – and he pushed it a little hard. A great season for the veteran and all time wins champ who many had written off.

Aaron Gwin was gracious and humble in victory as always.

Over on the women’s side, Rachel Atherton had the overall title sewn up before the race began, but that didn’t stop her from putting on another A+ performance, beating out Miriam Nicole and Manon Carpenter by 2.2 and 6.4 seconds respectively. Carpenter finished second overall in the standings, while Tahnee Seagrave grabbed third.

We’ve got the full results from both Val di Sole and the overall UCI standings below.
