Steep Enough for Ropes
The Vertriders have made a name for themselves by riding exposed lines in the Alps – but the grip and exposure in Namibia allow them to get to the next level.
A completely different take on mountain biking.

Great video and creative look at riding. I still prefer roots/dirt : )

Love the slow riding. Stretch out the moment.

Hmm. Pretty tame compared to what we do in Sedona and moab.

Its a little insulting to suggest that every solid rider in the world is out there documenting their "achievements" for internet fame. I'm sure you've seen some links to said gnar already, Cam.

Insulting? Either you're feigning or have the thinnest skin I've ever come across. You even refute yourself perfectly by indicating that such links exist, which I suppose means it's the former.

I never claimed to be riding anything that makes the above look tame, but rather thought the need for "links" to validate some awesome riding implies a sort of self-importance that we see too much of. Sometimes just riding what you want to ride is enough, no need to plaster it all over the internet. Also, I thought some of the more well-known crazy lines in Moab and Sedona speak for themselves, and were public knowledge.

Spot on. It's hardly insulting though hey. Really, anyone doing this for him or herself couldn't care less about some 'if there's no video it didn't happen' internet bullshit.

Cam's tone is a bit ambiguous there. I reckon that was more of a "we'd like to see it" than a "vid link or it didn't happen".

Sorry if it came off that way Eric. Not my intention at all. I've ridden Sedona and Moab and seen some of the crazy lines and I'd literally like someone to 'show us the links.' Sometimes I'm just moving fast and not all about the pleasantries.
At the same time calling those lines 'pretty tame' is the sort of boast that I'd like to see backed up. And the sort of person who would toss out a boast like that probably has them.

Your comment seemed totally reasonable to me, and I read it exactly how you just elaborated.

Sorry to jump to conclusions there Cam. Perhaps saw too many go pros on the trail yesterday. Cheers
