SCOTT USA SIGNS
SAM HILL

Sun Valley, ID, January 12th, 2007 — SCOTT USA announced today
that Sam Hill has chosen to ride in Scott eyewear for the ‘07 season. Hill,
the current DH World Champion, has been testing Scott’s 89xi goggles for
several months and picked the No-Sweat 89xi version, which controls heat and moisture
via specially designed face foam. “The fit and the comfort of Scott goggles
is really nice, I was immediately happy with it,” remarked Hill. “Scott
has been very supportive throughout the change and I look forward to a great season
with them.”
“Sam is an amazing athlete, and we are positive that we can make further
innovations to this product specific to bike with a rider like him,” commented
Phil Vega, Eyewear Team Manager for Scott Bicycles. “We have done so much
testing with the likes of Chad Reed and Ryan Villipoto in our Motorsports group,
and developed goggles that manage heat and moisture in Supercross situations,
so the goggles work perfectly for pedal sports due to the extensive research
and development team here at Scott.”
