Money Shot blew our expectations out of the water last year.  The quality and volume of entries was off the charts.  This year we are changing a few things for sure but it won't be radical.  The first big change was that we wanted to make sure the grand prize would be perfect for a mountain bike shooter.  This is where Kokanee Crankworx comes in.  This year's grand prize is a week at Crankworx in Whistler - including an all-access press pass, accommodation, lift tickets and bike rental.  Whistler is also ponying up $500 for the winner for transportation or just to blow in Whistler.  In addition the winner will have a month reserved in the Cove Productions North Shore Odyssey Calendar for 2008 and an additional $250 for that as well.  At Crankworx we'll be putting you to work for nsmb during the Slopestyle and a few other key events - so block off July 21-29th on your calendar if you plan to clean up at Money Shot 07.

We are going to run Money Shot for three months this year - beginning Monday March 5th.  Our panel of pro judges asked for a rotating schedule so rather than handling a month at a time we're going to change things up weekly.  This also means we can bring in some fresh blood to our stellar line up that includes Sterling Lorence, Stephen Wilde,  Ian Hylands, and Harookz.  We'll also be asking for some guidance from our in house lenses David Ferguson and Jay Sinclair and I just may put in my two bits on occasion.

Once again we will be giving out some amazing weekly prizes courtesy of Helly Hansen, Mace and Syncros.
