Semenuk’s Winning Run
Brandon Semenuk’s run was so precise and dialed it looked like he never broke a sweat. Square landings and smooth, slow rotations made him the tallest guy on the podium. And 25G richer.
And here’s Brett Rheeder’s run that was good for second place.
Who could have beaten Brandon with a clean run?

casbar … these guys don't do it for the money. In fact they'd have to be totally nuts to do it for ANY amount of money. They do it for love of the sport and bragging rights.

The thing that I think is crazy is how little prize money is involved for the winners and the riders on the podium. These guys are insanely talented and deserve way more in terms of $$$'s. There is more $$$'s for the winner of the Odlum Brown Tennis Tournament which is embarassing. Whistler, Tourism BC etc. should BUCK up some more $$$'s for these athletes. First place should get $100,00, second should get $50,000 and third place should take home $25,000. With the current prize money, the third place guy can hardly buy the first round of drinks at the bar.

Am I crazy to think that Nicholi Rogatkin was a threat before his spill near the end of the course?

Nope. His run was insane, it was really too bad he didn't finish cleanly.
