Santa Cruz Announces 650B V10
Well the Rat, er, cat, is officially out of the bag. Santa Cruz has announced their 650B race machine ahead of the World Cup DH race in Mont Ste. Anne this weekend. The lads at SC aren’t saying anything about the new rig beyond “we’re unable to confirm ANY details about the bikes the guys are racing on in Mont Sainte Anne, we’re not going to deny that what you see here isn’t happening…”

everyone run out and buy this wagon wheeled bike cause bike companies say it's better and want your money. Weaker heavier wheels, harder to turn. just what you want from a DH bike. Right?

If larger wheels are as stiff as wet cardboard, why aren't DH bikes on 20″ wheels?

tire clearance looked like it was difficult to fit the larger wheel, with vpp, and keep a reasonable chain-stay length
