Claudio Previews Mt Ste Anne

Before every World Cup DH, you’ll hear one racer or another say: “this is one of my favourite tracks on the circuit”. And you think to yourself: “thanks for going out on a limb there, bud. Out of 7 races, this is one of your faves?”. But Mt Ste Anne has been a mainstay on the World Cup circuit for 25 years now – in other words, since the days of skinsuits and helmets without visors. And it gets as many ‘favourite track’ comments as any of the others.

It is long, fast, and rough. We know this. But if you watch Claudio Caluori following Mark Wallace, it is a level of rough I don’t think we’ve ever seen in one of these course previews.
