CHRIS KING 40th ANNIVERSARY 5010

Chris King, the component manufacturer not the man, is 40 years old this year. To celebrate the company partnered with Santa Cruz to produce special CK edition Santa Cruz 5010s as complete bikes. They come in four sizes but only 40 will be produced.

142.5 rear? Not 142 or 148? I don't get it.

Assuming $8,999 USD, a mere $11,517.18 CAD and just under $12.1K, GST in. Gorgeous but not a hope in Hades, for me.

for a generally pimped out build, curious choice on rims.

why do you say that about the rims, not bling enough? i've been riding arcs for a few months now, they're greeeaaaat! light, wide, stiff -- and if you blow one up you can replace it for like 1% of the cost of the bike!

I mean that is a beautiful build. Toss something with some bling factor in there

While I don't think mil. green is CK's schtick, given his zen philosophy approach to production, somehow I don't see Nomad colours, but think something should pop.

Then people would be complaining that it costs too much. 😉

Yeah, that's kinda odd with as much stuff as SC and Chris King do with ENVE.
