2016 27.5+ Devinci Hendrix
Don’t let the onslaught of plus bikes, from what seems like every major bike company, rustle your Jimis. While fat bikes may be impractical in our North Shore backyard, Plus bikes, as Cam and Pete found out, seem capable of tackling the local terrain.Devinci has jumped on the plus-sized train their 120mm travel Hendrix.
The Devinci Hendrix has 120mm of travel and an adjustable head angle of between 67.3 and 67.7 degrees.
RaceFace cranks and N/W ring, along with a SRAM GX derailleur to put the power down.
The Hendrix’s geometry is adjustable via the rear of the rocker arm. Simply rotate the chip to cater to your needs.
The Hendrix is shod with 27.5 x 3.0 Maxxis Chronicles out of the box.
Lots of tire clearance.
The Hendrix uses Boost hubs front and rear, with the RockShox Reba up front. Once the Pike becomes available in the 110mm x 15 format, Devinci will spec a higher-end version of the Hendrix with a Pike and dropper post.
No dropper on the Devinci Hendrix RS.

The Boost 148 hub in the rear allows for reasonably short chainstays and a low Q factor .
Are you experienced in the suspension business? Dave Weagle sure is. Just like other Devinci bikes, the Hendrix employs a Split Pivot system.

Rear tire clearance should have two pictures, the one with seatstays and the one that's missing here, chainstays clearance - just flip the bike over. And it's obvious that the difficulties are with clearing the chainstay area, seatstays are pretty easy.

Hopefully the frame is made in Canada like their other metal frames. Looks pretty nice. I'd like to get a 29er/27+ bike option as my FS bikepacking rig and winter trail bike.
