Bender’s Best Bails
Bender was mostly unbreakable – and he’d step up to anything. One of these huge crashes would have made most riders step away from the edge – but Josh just kept on hucking.
I miss Bender being around the scene. He brought a lot of energy. Hope things are rocking Bender – wherever you are!

So odd that he was never on a longer-wheelbase bike. Those Karpiels and Banshees were just so stubby and uncontrollable. Weird.

Like he had much choice back then.

I suppose I assumed he would have had some influence over bike design back then,

I was 9 months pregnant and he stayed with us for a week. So considerate, and awesome, but with the amount of laughing between Tippie, him, myself, I went into labour a week early!

Now, a video of his best landings, cause there are a bunch… and some are pretty inspirational.

Bender is much much more than the crashes that were filmed. Bender has a ton of skill.

In this world my friend. Bender deserves respect for his role in progressing mountain biking.
Without Bender being Bender there would not be a Rampage.

Its quite funny or rather interesting that most of his crashs were just a lack of skill. He doesnt even position his feet right sometimes. I loved him back in the days, not really for his skills but for his balls. He was very entertaining and Im glad Im not the only one remembering him.

At the time, it was only really him hitting things like that. He didn't lack skill as a rider, he just lacked experience in dealing with those moves. He IS a skilled rider, and landed a LOT of big stuff
