Banshee Rune Going HUGE
Comical intro, proper shred soundtrack, a couple crashes, and of course going huge!
That was good. Probably worth watching again.

I will look just like this when I get my Rune built in the next couple of weeks. 😉

That really made me feel better about taking my 6″ bike to the park a lot this year.

Sooo….I'm looking at a new bike frame. I'm split between the rune and spitfire. currently am riding a Slayer. was thinking about something that pedaled a bit easier but could still shred like the Slayer. Rune is basically the same as a Slayer as far as I can tell, but if I got a Spitfire, would I be able to put it through its paces or would it be too much for a frame like the spitfire to take repeated drops, rough riding etc.

from a durability standpoint i don't think there's much drop off between the rune and spitfire. from all accounts the new spitfire is intended to be properly thrashed, and is "overbuilt" as far as traditional 5″ travel bikes go. you give up a bit of squish vs. the rune or the slayer, but you gain some pedaling efficiency. that said, banshee's new minilink suspension design pedals very efficiently compared to most others, so a rune might do the trick without sacrificing travel

Anyone know what the song is? I've googled the lyrics and used SoundHound, but to no avail. No credits in the video or on Vimeo either.

Awesome, thanks! Only thing I can find on Youtube is a live performance. Not enough bands have a drummer/vocalist. Sweet… youtu.be/bZUDEdKVtXc

That was some proper little bike shredding. Definitely qualifies as a Sick MTB Edit.
