Bamboo Biking Through the Pamirs

Soaring over 7,500m above sea level and linking the famous Himalayas to the Hindu Kush range, the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan are arguably one of the most remote places on Earth. It certainly isn’t the kind of place you’d want to bring a relatively untested technology. Despite the risks and the unknowns, three friends set out to prove their idea of a bamboo fatbike in the most direct way possible.

You’d be hard pressed to come up with a tougher trial for that kind of bike.
