After the Crash… Damage Control
You never want to crash on an exposed ridgeline like this, but the result isn’t what you might expect…
Well, that was… unnerving.

It might be a good idea to tape that finger to another, e.g., the ring finger in that case for stability for the rest of the ride.

I've also done that before, left hand ring finger. As much as I tried, and as much as my buddy tried, could not get my finger back into place while on the trail so off to the hospital! My wedding ring still falls off when my hands get cold.

Why does your wedding ring fall off from having a previously dislocated finger?

I've done this before, except it was my elbow that I watched bend backwards. Had to re-set it then rode 1 handed down the rest of the mountain… much slower
