Season Retrospective

It’s hard to believe that 2010 is coming to an end, and yet another riding season is just around the corner.  2010 was a great year for me, as I had some fantastic experiences, both locally and internationally, on my trusty steeds. Most importantly, it was another great year of riding with my buds, improving my skills, and generally having fun on two wheels.

A defining highlight for me this year was the fortification of my relationship with Rocky Mountain Bikes. I am so pumped to be working with such a great group of individuals, and with such a progressive and forward-thinking company. With that being said, 2011 is going to be a sensational year!

I am also very proud to have been one of the lucky few involved with the R&D project for the 2011 Rocky Mountain Slayer. It gets me stoked when I think about the fact that my input directly contributed to making one of the most solid all-mountain bikes of 2011. Here’s what I had to say about my 2011 Rocky Mountain Slayer this past summer.

Another definite highlight for me this year unmistakably was my trip to Spain with Mountain Bike UK. I was lucky enough to get to join a great bunch of guys from the Brit bike mag in the beautiful Costa del Sol region of Spain for several days of shredding and shooting. If you get a chance, snatch up a copy of December’s issue (#258) of the magazine for the full low done on my little Española mountain bike adventure. Here’s my blog on the trip. Keep an eye out for other articles in future issues of MBUK.

This past year was has also been a banner year for me professionally.  My company, Green Coast Rubbish, which will be celebrating its fifth year of operation in May of 2011, has been keeping me more than busy when I’m not riding my bike, and I’m super excited to see what 2011 brings for us. We have recently updated our site and added a blog, media and photo gallery pages. Give it a look, see what we do, and follow us on FB and Twitter!

One of the greatest things for me as a rider for NSMB is the fact that I have such a great pool of talent to ride with on the daily, as well as some of the greatest trails and trail networks in the Western Hemisphere to ride on. I love living, riding, and working on the Shore.  2010 was an exciting year for me, and it looks like 2011 will be a banger as well.
