Team NSMB hits Cypress

Photos jaydub

A small contigent of our team, some would say the older ones, hit up Cypress Mountain on the weekend for a little product testing and for some good old fashioned knar knar riding.  Cypress has the gnarliest natural trails on the North Shore and big bikes are pretty much mandatory if you want to hit the fun lines…  especially at speed.

I pulled double duty as photog and rider with Cam helping out with camera duties.  Lucky for us, Dan Gongross was shuttle b*tch with the team truck due to a concussion so multiple laps were easy.

I’m more of a picture guy than with words so here’s our stories of the day.

Eamonn on his new Rocky Mountain World Cup giving his Rock Shox World Cup Boxxer a workout.

Cam and Trevor join in on the fun

Typical Cypress….  rock slab after rock slab.  T-Bone makes it look easy

Cam mans up and takes the knarly line… Watch out for that rock !

Ladder bridge fun.

Eamonn probes it up

Trevor follows shortly

Trevor up to his old tricks.

Pete R. hitting up the ladder to stepdown.

Old man Cam hitting it up…   maybe it’s not so hard after all.  😉

T-bone hitting up one of the rocked berms.

I decided to man up and launch it…  not the smoothest landing with all the pointy rocks but what the hell.

I like this angle.

Cam Hill.

Eamonn with his shirt on.

It’s hip to be square.

Eamonn hitting it up old school…  Dangerous Dan style.

I asked Eamonn to go to the end of the log to get the best shot…  I think he went too far.

Great day with great friends.
