2015 Specialized Demo: Asymmetric and 650B
The 2015 Specialized Demo, in 650B, has been unveiled just in time for the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup this weekend. In this iteration we see a complete departure from the previous design with a radical asymmetric shock mount and a simplified FSR design with its main pivot around the bottom bracket.
At this time we’ve just got a couple of product shots and a video with Troy Brosnan and Aaron Gwin, so the rest of the details are all up for speculation. Have a look at the video below and get going in the comments.

I really dig the asymmetry. As Jon said, carbon is a blank canvas, but it's usually overly constrained by preconception. This isn't exactly a ground- breaking design but it's a step. Definite benefits to accessibility and also less mud traps, etc.

Not much uglier than the current demo. That being said… I would ride it for sure.

I think that is finally a carbon fibre bike that is using the material to allow for some shapes and designs that other materials can't as easily. I'm in the like camp.

If there are only three sizes wouldn't it be easier to call them S/M/L?

I'm betting that the M is like other companies' M size, though, so that calling it a Small would be confusing.

That's actually pretty ugly for a specialized bike

Be real, that's kind of a plain looking bike for an Sworks.
